This week’s Top Ten Tuesday over at That Artsy Reader Girl is Books With Your Favorite Color on the Cover (Or in the Title). This was a lot of fun! Caveat – I’m not saying these books are good or bad, just that they have my favorite color on them or in the title. My favorite color is purple, so here we go!
- As you’ll learn through these posts, I’ll use any chance I can to include my beloved Harry Potter series. This is the gorgeous illustrated version of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and it’s a lot more purple in person than it is in this picture.
- A Purple Place for Dying – I haven’t read this one, but this series by John D MacDonald is a solid mystery series.
- Cream of the Crop by Alice Clayton – LOVED this one. Get it if you haven’t read it yet.
- To Darkness and to Death – I love this mystery series featuring the Rev Clare Fergusson and Sheriff Russ Van Alstyne.
- Harold and the Purple Crayon – Why has my childless self read this book? I have no idea, but it’s delightful.
- Ms. Marvel Last Days – if you’re not reading this series of graphic novels, I don’t even know what to say to you.
- The Color Purple by Alice Walker – Heartbreaking, gorgeous, and a must read for everyone.
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Yep – the Boy Who Lived is back. This is the new-ish British paperback version of this book, and I did, in fact, grab all 7 and cart them around the last time I was in London.
- Jessica Jones: The Return of the Purple Man – I haven’t actually read this comic series, but I love the Netflix show.
- A Princess in Theory by Alyssa Cole – Guys. Seriously. If you haven’t read this one yet, what are you waiting for?? It’s so freaking good!
That’s it for this week! What about you guys – what books feature your favorite color?
