This week’s Top Ten Tuesday over at That Artsy Reader Girl is Bookish Worlds I’d Never Want to Live In
I wasn’t sure how this was going to, because I tend to read mainly books that take place in our world. Contemporary and historical romance, mysteries, etc. Those make up the bulk of my reading life, and I just don’t read that much sci-fi, fantasy, dystopia, or any other genre that involves worlds not our own.
But I took a look through some that I have read, and though it was tempting to list the series’ out individually in order to pad the list, I managed to come up with ten books that take place in worlds that I would never want to even visit, much less live in. For the most part, these are all pretty self-explanatory, so rather than list them individually and spell out for each one why I wouldn’t want to live there, I’ll just include them all here, and assume you can all figure it out. 😉
That’s it for this week! What about you guys – what book worlds would you never want to live in?
The Hunger Games had been a pretty unanimous one this week.
