I liked the writing enough to read more of her stuff if I came across it, but I don’t know if I’d seek it out. She did a great job with our main couple, but the rest of the cast was a bit of a mixed bag. – Smut Matters
I don’t read a lot of mob books, and while I remember why when I’m reading these, Katee Robert is just so good that I don’t care.
I think this is the last book in the series. But what a way to go out. I’ve read a couple of these more than once, and I think this will be another one. – Smut Matters
Bottom line – this wasn’t my favorite Lauren Layne book, but I’ll keep reading the series anyway. – Smut Matters
Overall, this was a great entry in Lemmon’s Evergreen Cove series. Even thought Faith drove me nuts at times, I was glad to see Connor get the happily ever after he wanted. – Smut Matters
This book was a good way to end the series, even if the first one is still my favorite. – Smut Matters
I loved that about her from the very beginning. She refuses to let Donovan bully her into doing what he wants regarding the mansion and the charity dinner she’s already planning to host there, setting up the rest of the story. – Smut Matters
A great start to a new series by Jessica Lemmon! – Smut Matters
