Holy shirtballs, you guys. This book was so freaking good! -Smut Matters
I read holiday romances, novella or novel length, because I’m looking for some sexy times with not a lot of drama. And in that respect, this was perfect. – Smut Matters
I liked it enough to read one more and see if any of these issues get worked out, but I don’t know if I’ll move on beyond that. – Smut Matters
A Fighting Chance is a charming, short second-chance romance. Second-chance romance is one of my favorite tropes, and Shannon Stacey is one of my favorite contemporary authors, so this was an automatic buy for me. – Smut Matters
I love Shannon Stacey. Her Kowalski series is one of the series that brought me back to romance several years ago. – Smut Matters
This was a strange one for me. It wasn’t quite the same as the first two in the series. There was an overwhelming air of sadness throughout this book that never really let up, even by the end. There was a pretty typical HEA, but I still came away from the book with the sense that as a couple Jacqui and Henrik were on borrowed time.

Katherine (Katie) Whitton and Tom Morgan were high-school sweethearts in Dallas, TX until the very end of their senior year when they broke up and […]
