New Waiting on Wednesday!
New Waiting on Wednesday!
I know I always come across as hating this series when I review it, but I really don’t. I love the world Darynda Jones has created, and I love getting to visit it. Weirdly, Reyes and Charley have always been the weakest part of it for me, and that’s not going to change. – Smut Matters
I have a deep, dark secret about this series, you guys. I’ve never told anyone this before, but… Here we go. – Smut Matters
I love this series so much. It’s so fun. Lots of humor, banter, wonderful characters, human (or humanoid) and canine. Especially the canine characters. Oberon is fantastic, and always a highlight of these books. – Smut Matters
Overall I loved this entry in the series. I downloaded the next one immediately and started listening. I’m sorry I waited so long to start it. – Smut Matters
I haven’t been this happy with a Black Dagger book in a long time, and I loved recapturing that feeling. – Smut Matters
I expected this one to be a bit of a letdown after Changes. And I’m never too disappointed by being right. – Smut Matters

Changes, indeed.By the end of this book, Except probably not. Seriously. Everything about this book is great. This is the twelfth book in the series, and I really don’t recommend starting here. Do yourself a favor and read it from the beginning. Or at least […]
Black Dagger 13 The Shadows by J. R. Ward Published by Penguin LCC US on 2015-03 Genres: Romance, Urban Fantasy Pages: 576 Format: eBook Goodreads AmazonBarnes & Noble This post will be dark and full of spoilers. Please do not proceed if you haven’t read this book or spoilers bother you. I normally try not to post spoilers, but it’s hard to do with a book like this. Plus, most of Ward’s fans read the new books as soon as they come out, so I don’t expect to ruin this for too many people. Spoiler line……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. First – the elephant in the room. Yes, Selena dies in the end. And if this is your first book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, I’m sure you were shocked. Also, book 13 is not the place to start in a series. At least not one like this that’s really one giant, sprawling, continuing […]
