Review – Game Plan by Kristen Callihan
This is the kind of book that I absolutely loved and didn’t want to put down while I was reading it, but I don’t know if I can ever read it again. – Smut Matters

Anna and Drew have a lot to get through and over, both together and individually. From their very first meeting, though, it is so obvious that these two are on a crash course. I don’t want to give too many of the details of this book away. It’s so worth picking it up and discovering everything – Smut Matters

I did not expect this book. I didn’t expect Zack at all. My heart broke for him when Gina died at the end of the 2nd book. I was expecting this book to be a really difficult, weepy read. I waited until I had a free weekend and a full box of tissues to read it. I was expecting several hundred pages of Zack falling for Kate and hating himself for it, racked with guilt because of Gina’s death and guilt for moving on. That’s not… exactly what we got. – Smut Matters
This was a strange one for me. It wasn’t quite the same as the first two in the series. There was an overwhelming air of sadness throughout this book that never really let up, even by the end. There was a pretty typical HEA, but I still came away from the book with the sense that as a couple Jacqui and Henrik were on borrowed time.
I was excited to see that the second book in the series would focus on Garrett, because he seemed like exactly the kind of guy that would fall hard when he fell. – Smut Matters
Simmering Ice was a light, fun novella in the Atlanta City Hustlers series. – Smut Matters
Sutton’s a saint. She may make a great friend and girlfriend, but she’s a pretty boring character. Alex, while a complete jerk in the beginning, was a lot more fun to read. – Smut Matters

They’re not my catnip; I don’t love them, but I like them. I know some people think that there’s a reason a couple broke up in the first place, but I think in cases like this, enough time has passed where the characters are different people at a very different point in their lives, and it could work. Katherine (Katie) Whitton and Tom Morgan were high-school sweethearts in Dallas, TX until the very end of their senior year when they broke up and […]
