ARC Review – Blitzed by Alexa Martin
The writing itself was excellent, as always, and this group of friends is always fun to revisit. But, wow, that whole last few chapters almost ruined it for me. -Smut Matters

My opinion of this book is just No. Just – no. To all of it. -Smut Matters
I haven’t given up on Fool’s Gold yet, but this was not a very good entry in the series. -Smut Matters
I really wanted to go higher than 2.5 stars because the book was well-written, the mystery itself was decently planned out, though not completely solved; this will clearly stretch out over the course of the series. But I couldn’t go higher. The initial concept just made me too mad to see beyond it. – Smut Matters
In fact, I decided to DNF this one, but I talked to someone at Lori Foster’s Reader Author Get Together who said he got better, so I decided to finish it. Which turned out to be a mistake. Because he did not. – Smut Matters
It’s turning toward fall, and while the days are still hot, the mornings and evenings are getting cool. This is exactly the time of year I love to read creepy, psychological thrillers. – Smut Matters
Anyway, I’m moving on. I still love Emma Chase’s stuff, and I can’t wait to read the rest of this series. – Smut Matters
This was a rough one. I really struggled to finish this one, but it was for my book club, so I kept going. – Smut Matters
I hated this guy so much that I can’t even tell you much about the rest of the characters. The fact that everyone else in this book sees how he acts and says and does nothing about it makes me want to throw up. – Smut Matters
I guess I’m a little confused by this book and all the love it receives. I mean, are we really supposed to root for this couple? – Smut Matters
