Review – The Forbidden Man by Karina Halle
Karina Halle is on the same plan as Talia Hibbert for me – I read them slowly so that I always have at least one that I can pick up when I’m feeling the need to cry or scream. -Smut Matters

This is what I like to see in a second-chance romance. A couple that acknowledges how badly they screwed up in the past, apologizes genuinely for it, and does the work to rebuild a relationship. I loved this book. -Smut Matters
Get this book – you won’t be sorry. -Smut Matters
Bottom line – if you’re determined to read everything Kate Meader writes, and I can’t blame you if you are, this book will fill that space. But you could also skip it and be ok. Isobel and Vadim just weren’t a great couple. – Smut Matters
This book is exactly what I wanted. It was light on the angst, heavy on the sexy, and I genuinely liked every single character, up to and including Cooper’s duck-watching, meditating agent. – Smut Matters
