I don’t normally jump into a series 4 books in, but I’d heard about this one, and the concept of a hero with Asperger’s was intriguing. I ended up really enjoying it, enough that at some point, I’d like to go back and read the earlier ones. – Smut Matters

The chemistry between Jacob and Sophie was instant and hot. They didn’t even really try to fight it. There wasn’t a lot of angst here, just two people who needed each other and found each other at the exact right time. – Smut Matters

I liked this a lot more than I liked Ten Tiny Breaths. I haven’t read any more of Tucker’s new adult books, but I would absolutely read more of her suspense novels. If you haven’t read this one yet, do yourself a favor and pick it up. – Smut Matters

I went with three and half stars because while I enjoyed this book, the romance felt a little forced. I thought Devon and Kathleen were better suited as friends. If this had been a contemporary, I’d suggest friends with benefits. – Smut Matters
