The story picked up in the second half, but to be honest, at that point, I was already over it and wasn’t even really sure what the mystery was supposed to be here. – Smut Matters
If you’re looking to get in on a cozy series from the ground up, you’d do yourself a favor to grab this one. – Smut Matters
They’re fun to read, but you have to really suspend your disbelief in order to buy that this one woman is managing to be involved with 15 or more murders. – Smut Matters
There wasn’t anything revolutionary here; just a standard light cozy mystery, perfect for curling up on the couch with a blanket and a cup of tea. – Smut Matters
It’s turning toward fall, and while the days are still hot, the mornings and evenings are getting cool. This is exactly the time of year I love to read creepy, psychological thrillers. – Smut Matters
Bottom line – if you like thrillers/mysteries at all, you would be doing yourself a huge favor to pick this one up. – Smut Matters
I liked this a lot more than I liked Ten Tiny Breaths. I haven’t read any more of Tucker’s new adult books, but I would absolutely read more of her suspense novels. If you haven’t read this one yet, do yourself a favor and pick it up. – Smut Matters
I’m honestly not sure if Olivia Limoges has mellowed a little bit, or if I’m just getting used to her. She’s still unsufferable, but this time through I found it more amusing than irritating. -Smut Matters
Overall, I liked this audiobook, and I’ll get the next in the series. I don’t know how many I’ll get through, but definitely a few more at least. – Smut Matters
